This is one of the most useful movement assessments I've ever learned.

🏋🏽‍♂️ The Torsion Test objectively measures an athletes ability to supinate and rotate the tibia.

This motion is often lost after an ankle sprain or other lower extremity injuries.

📘 Most textbook clinical assessments are limited to the sagittal or frontal plane (ex: dorsiflexion, knee flexion/ extension, toe extension, etc.)

However functional gait requires pronation and supination.

🧠 This is actually a variation of a clinical assessment called the table test that Chris Johnson invented, which I use as well.

Comment "Masterclass" to learn movement assessment techniques.
