Any new user must have a basic understanding of robot tool frames since they have some added complexity over tool offsets on mills and lathes. Daniel Rogge uses a marker, which has a single point that can be thought of as the Z offset. Then he explains the offset on a 2-finger pneumatic gripper, that adds extra complexity with multiple offsets to take into account.
