Tormach machines can be used unconventionally for many projects. Our own Jenny B. used the 24R Router, a drag Engraver, and the DXF features of PathPilot, to make the stencils for her wedding dress. Since Jenny and Mark, her betrothed, are huge geeks, they themed the entire wedding and honeymoon around Harry Potter.

To make the dress, Jenny created a DXF file that referenced the Marauders Map scene from the movies, and the quotes, "I Solemnly Swear That I am Up to No Good," and "Mischief Managed." Both of these quote appear on either side of her dress. She then adhered the Oramask onto the 24R and used the new features of PathPilot to verify the work envelope. Once the Stencils were cut out, she stapled the dress to some cardboard, applied the stencils and then painstakingly painted the openings with Speedball fabric paint.

We at Tormach, congratulate Jenny and Mark on their matrimony, and hope they know that where your treasure is, there will your heart also be.
