Time to do something, but first we need to turn on the Tormach mill. There's a certain order to powering up your machine and Jeremiah walks you through it. After that, the machine has to be referenced, this can also be called the Home position. It's a fixed point of reference in the machine travels of the Tormach mill.

Jeremiah then explains the importance of lubricating the machine with either the automatic oiler or the manual oiler. The warm up sequence is important to start out a day of machining. It properly lubricates the spindle at a low RPM and sets up a stable temperature for operation. Both of these procedures are important to keep up the lifespan of the machine and to ensure a great cutting surface.

Then finally, Jeremiah explains how to shut down the the Tormach CNC mill by using the proper sequence. All CNC machines have this.
