Quick promo for CSI (Las Vegas) airing after Survivor. This was from the first season, only the 17th episode ever of CSI. But CSI was already off and running and an anchor of CBS' new lineup of highly rated shows with appeal to the coveted younger crowd.

This promo shows some of the trademark dry humor of CSI, as well as a beardless Gil Grissom.

This was only the 6th episode to air in CSI's then-new Thursday night slot, CSI would air over 200 episodes on Thursday night. It is scheduled to move to Wednesday night in fall 2011.
