Near the end of the run of his show, Jerry Seinfeld did a few commercials for what was said to be rather high prices. This was one of them.
This is the long-form version and shows Jerry doing all the shopping he wants to with his AMEX card. He even wins the millionth shopper award at a store. It's full of comedy bits, it's rather entertaining.
The shorter form (30 seconds) version is actually a bit funnier, because some of the bits (like the guy trying to open the produce bag) aren't milked so much. However the bowling scene is removed in that one, and that's a bit of a drag.
This spot aired during A&E's "The Story of the Gun" part 2, Saturday February 20th, 1999.
