Hi Guys and Gals, here we have Plarail Luke which i got from ebay. The cost of this engine was around US$40 incl delivery.
Luke is a small narrow gauge steam tank engine who was hiding because he thought he was in trouble for Victor falling in the ocean upon the pairs arrival to the island of Sodor. His secret was discovered in the Blue mountain mystery movie and it had a happy ending as you would expect.
This version of Luke I feel is more realistic to the character in the movie although you will pay a higher price for this locomotive than the trackmaster version if you live outside of Asia (I live in Australia which is in Asia geographically but we do not get plarail for sale here). The attention to detail is nice as is the better smaller size and proportions, 90% of the detail is tampo's not decals which is nice and it runs very well.
The battery compartment opens from underneath and holds a AA battery, this locomotive tracks well at a decent speed and looks very good when going along. Its hard to pick a favorite between the 2 versions as they have good and bad points.

I wont be giving a score today as i feel you playing at home can give a better score.
