Hi Guys and Gals here we have the 3rd installment of runs from the Large TOMY Thomas range its large 90's Percy!
Percy is the 2nd or 3rd engine I bought I am not entirely sure but I do remember buying him on ebay :D These larger locos are getting very hard to find as they were not big sellers compared to the smaller Tomica road and rail series which was its competitor. As a result these were then discontinued in favour of the smaller engines this making them harder and harder to find as they make their way into peoples collections. This one is a little noisy in the gears and I have never opened it up to have a look inside as it was a runner when i bought it. Percy like all the Thomas and friends engines in this range run on a single AA battery and its interesting that there is a blanked off area next to the battery for a second battery!
I hope you like this run :D this loco it is a prized part of my collection and a piece of Thomas and TOMY history.
