If you ever wanted to see a pure embodiment of the 90's in video game form, then this is it.
\\Toejam & Earl - Doubles Challenge//
In this game, the objective is to traverse each world in search of the missing ship pieces that'll enable Toejam & Earl to return to their home planet of Funkotron. There's about 10 pieces in all, with one appearing every couple of levels or so.
Problem is, we'll be playing the game a little differently than normal. The Doubles Challenge basically has you map Player 2's controls to the same keys as Player 1; in co-op games like this one, it's a fun way to mix things up a little and get a bit of havoc on the go.
The biggest danger in this run is if Toejam & Earl get split up for whatever reason. This can happen if one of them falls off a ledge and down into the world below, or generally when trying to evade some fairly persistent enemies. Trying to navigate two different levels on the same control inputs will likely be interesting to say the least.
It's not all bad though, we've got a bunch of presents with mystery effects that we can pick up. Some do good things like let you fly or restore your health. Others do not so good things like outright kill the character who opened it.

As for what's happening with the channel, I'm resuming the Pokemon Vietnamese Nuzlocke within the next few days, and I'll be using this here Doubles run as 'filler' for off-days. But at the moment there's a big gulf where a challenge run should be so I'm trying out different stuff at the moment.
Right now it's a toss-up between FFTactics, FF8, or quick-runs of other FF7 difficulty mods. If you have suggestions for different stuff, then I'd be happy to hear 'em.
