Happy Valentine's Day ❤️ Distress Paints are so fun to layer and they even resist inks/paints once dried! 🎨 Join @joyofstamping6979 as she shares a colorful cupid card using @tim_holtz distress paints, inks, and stamps with a little action wobbler.
Supplies:
Tim Holtz Distress:
-Watercolor Cardstock
-Paint: Mermaid Lagoon, Salvaged Patina, Worn Lipstick, Candied Apple
-Dye Ink: Candied Apple, Mermaid Lagoon, Gathered Twigs
-Archival Ink: Black Soot
Ranger:
-Embossing Powder: Black Sparkle
-Heat It Tool
Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Mixed Media Sets: CMS082 Lovestruck, CMS121 Valentine Silhouettes, THMM12 Silhouette Birds
Tim Holtz by Tonic Studios:
-Stamp Platform
-Glass Studio Mat
-Media Mat
Other:
Embossing Gun
Action Wobbler
Instructions:
-Apply small amount of Candied Apple paint and spread to make a stamp pad.
-Use stamps to stamp hearts onto watercolor cardstock and let completely dry.
-Apply Drops of various paint colors and apply water so the paint has an easier time moving on the paper.
-Apply Water to Distress Watercolor cardstock to keep Distress Paints Fluid.
-Dip Cardstock up and down onto the paint to apply color.
-Apply Water if you want to move your color.
-Blot and reapply color as needed.
-Create as many layers as you’d like and let dry.
-Stamp images onto the cardstock.
-Add Ranger Embossing Powder, heat and cut out.
-Pop Cupid up with an Action wobbler.
-Assemble Card.
