This clever card starts with the Moroccan Tile stamp used the traditional way, then takes a creative turn by pressing that same stamp into Simon Hurley create. Stamping Foam to capture a negative impression.
Supplies:
Simon Hurley Create:
-1 Side Folding A2 Card Base
-Heart Cut Out Stamping Foam
-Photopolymer Stamp Set: Watercolor Flowers
-Coordinating Dies
-Cling Mount Rubber Background Stamp Moroccan Tile
-Die Set: Handwritten Sentiments
-2 Pieces 4.25 X 5.5 In Panel Of Simon Hurley Stark White Cardstock
-Stellar Ink Pads: Loch Ness, Check Engine
-Solar Spray: Deep End
Dina Wakley Media Glue
Ranger Heat It Tool
Tim Holtz Trimmer
Misc:
1 A2 Black Matting Layer
Foam Tape for Dimension
Stamping Platform

Instructions:
-Prep your station for the Stamping Foam. You want the items you are using to be at the ready. The Stamping Foam pulls the best images in its heated state.
-Heat the Heart of the Stamping Foam for 10 to 15 seconds. Keep the heat tool moving so as not to burn the Stamping Foam. IMMEDIATELY press into the item you want to capture the reverse image of.
-I used a large background stamp to pull the image, and that same background stamp for my main background, so when I place the heart on top, it looks like I cut the heart from the center.
White panel 1: Stamp the background image (Moroccan Tile + Loch Ness)
White panel 2: Stamp the heart (Check Engine) and fussy cut,
-Stamp a focal image (Watercolor Flowers with Loch Ness)
-Place a color swatch to cut your word die (or stamp the word in a coordinating ink).
-Cut a word shadow if applicable.
-Trim matt layer and background layer.
-Glue the full panels to cardbase.
-Add foam dimension to the heart shape and place on the background panel being mindful to line up the design if you pulled from the same image.
-Place the focal image and sentiment on the heart and glue down.
Optional: Spritz or splatter some Deep End Solar Spray for some shimmer.
