@ElizabethCostaRogers is on a quest to find the best Pirate Party! What adventures will there be when we follow the map? 🏴☠️
Supplies:
Simon Hurley create.:
-Stamp: Pirate Party
-Stark White Cardstock Panel. Card Base
-Stellar Pads: Black Widow, Weeping Willow
-Dye Pad: Grrr!
-Lunar Paste: Gold Rush
-Blending Brush
Dina Wakley Media Glue
Ranger Heat it Tool
Distress Spray Stain: Vintage Photo, Walnut stain
Distress Oxide: Pumice Stone
Misc:
Scissors
Trimmer
1 A2 piece of copy paper
Spray bottle of Water
Coloring medium for images (alcohol markers used)
Wobbler for the ship
Instructions:
-On A2 panel stamp the ship, treasure + pirates using Black Widow. (Black Widow is best for alcohol markers NOT water-based mediums)
-Color images + fussy cut
-On A2 copy paper panel spritz with Vintage Photo + Walnut Stain + DRY COMPLETLY
-Using Pumice Stone, blend all over your sprayed panel. This step is to set the dark sprays back a little so we can stamp the Map on top
-Stamp the map on the sprayed copy paper panel with Black Widow + spray with a light mist of water. We want the map lines to blur a little
-While the map is still damp crumple the map, then use Weeping Willow to brush over the raised parts of the map
-Gently flatten the map. I burned the edges in a controlled environment to distress the edges. But you could tear the edges + add brown + black inks to the edges to get a similar look or just do a loose cut around the edges.
-Ink card base with Grrr! + add it randomly to the card base to tone down the white
-Add glue to center area of the back of map + glue it to the card base. The edges should be loose.
-Add the treasure chest to one corner
-Add some glue to the corner of the map where you want the ship to go
-Add a wobbler to the ship + place on the map
-On the inside of the card place the pirates a couple inches apart. They only get glue from the waist down so we can slip some birthday cash or gift card behind them.
-Stamp a sentiment above the pirates
