Tim Holtz Distress®:
-Dye Ink Pads: Brushed Corduroy Walnut Stain, Ground Espresso
-Spray Stain: Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, Crackling Campfire
-Oxide Spray: Vintage Photo, Speckled Egg, Wild Honey, Crushed Olive
-Oxide Ink Pad: Salvaged Patina
-SPRITZ : Salvaged Patina, Fossilized Amber, Peeled Paint
-Watercolor Pencil: Picket Fence
-Sprayer

-Heat It ™ Craft Tool
-Archival Ink™ Pad: Jet Black

Instructions:
-Grab your tag and a base color of choice. I used a warm brown. Apply the color in circular motions across the background, leaving some areas slightly lighter for natural variation.
-Lightly spritz water to activate the Distress Ink and let it react. Dry completely.
-Choose a few Distress Spray Stains in the same color family. Pick up the color with a wet brush and paint it onto the background. Flick the brush to create splatters for extra texture.
-Once dry, add a coordinating Distress Oxide Spray using a brush. Gently spritz water over the surface to trigger the oxidized effect.
-Select a contrasting color that matches the temperature of your palette (warm with warm, cool with cool).
-Use the back of the spray nozzle to apply small touches of color, then blend softly with water.
-Apply Distress Glaze through a stencil for resist texture.
-Choose a high-contrast Distress Oxide Ink. Press it onto a craft surface, add water, and gently swipe your tag through the mixture. The glazed areas will resist and pick up color beautifully.
-Dry thoroughly, then grunge up the edges of your tag using a dark shade.
-Stamp your focal image using Archival Ink.
-Color the image with Distress Oxide Spray.
-Dry well, then add coordinating Distress Spritz for a touch of sparkle.
-Add background stamping around the focal image to blend everything together. Keep it light — the background should already be rich with texture.
-Use a white Distress Watercolor Pencil to highlight details.
-Add your sentiment, ribbon and finish with white splatters.
