Is your feed overflowing with resolutions, goal-setting, and all that “new year, new me” energy? 😅 Allie Joy is sharing her take on it all—worth the pause and the scroll.
If that works for you, amazing! But for many of us, it can quietly turn into pressure, comparison, or feeling like we’re already behind. That’s why I start the year with intentions, not resolutions. Especially in winter, when we’re meant to rest, reflect, and move slowly, not rush ourselves into a brand-new version just because the calendar flipped. This spread is my way of easing into 2026. Playful layers, bold color, and room to breathe. Using alcohol inks let me follow curiosity instead of a rigid plan. I chose neons because I’m calling in more whimsy, more authenticity, more creativity, and more community. Intentions give direction without shame or urgency, and that’s the energy I want to carry forward in 2026.

Supplies:
49 and Market Nostalgic Memories Ephemera and Frames
Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink
-Neons: Ignite, Hyper, Caution, Atomic, Glacier, Radioactive, Razzle, Flourescent
-Blending Solution
-Ink Blower
Dylusions Creative Journal
Other:
Black and white cardstock
Glue or glue roller
Sticky gems
Acetate
Scissors
Instructions:
-Drop Neons onto acetate and use an Ink Blower to move the colors around allowing them to blend together. Add blending solution if you want more flow and play until it feels right.
-Choose colors that reflect your intentions for the year. Neons reflect whimsy, authenticity, and creative energy.
-Lay 49 and Market frames over acetate, then cut the inked pieces to fit.
-Glue acetate under the frames, then add white cardstock underneath to make the colors pop.
-Arrange the frames on black cardstock like a little gallery wall and glue them down.
-Take time to reflect on your intentions. Write or type one for each frame and glue them in.
-Add layered acetate and cardstock “2026” at the top.
-Finish with sticky gems or any details that bring you extra joy!
