Supplies:
Simon Hurley create:
-Photopolymer Stamp Set: Sketched Peonies
-Stark White Cardstock
-Stellar Ink: Black Widow
-Solar Sprays: Trust Fund, Twin Flames
-Clear Foam Tape
Tim Holtz Distress:
-A2 panel of Black Heavystock
-Distress Oxide: Vintage Photo, Spun Sugar

Heat It Tool

Misc Supplies:
Scissors
Stamping Platform
Spray bottle of water
Coloring medium for the images
Exacto Knife + cutting mat
Instructions:
-On the A2 blackstock, stamp the peony in the center using Oxide ink and spritz with water. Allow the water to move around and heat set. Repeat this step of stamping with Oxide and spritzing with water. Try to get the color to run and bloom around the stamped image
-Once finshed, heat set again.
-Pick some Solar Sprays and spritz or splatter to add color and interest. Let dry completely
-On Stark white paper, stamp the smaller peonies using Black Widow. (*Black Widow is best for alcohol markers NOT water-based mediums)
-Color images
-Fussy cut one peony as a whole unit
-Fussy cut the second one into the parts you want to pop up
-On the back of the full peony, Add foam tape to the center of the big flower, bud and to the tips of a couple leaves (the furthest part from the stem). Remove the tape backing
Add glue everywhere there is no foam tape Including around the edge of the large flower
-Trim your card panel if you want a border when placed on the card base.
-On the loose flower parts, take the center of the large flower, use your fingers and mold into a cup-like shape. Add foam to the center and glue to the edges. Place on the main flower and press firmly on the outer edges.
-On the small petals of the flower, place the foam at the outer most of the petals. Glue the rest into place
-Mold the bud into a cup shape and adhere with foam tape
-Pick a couple leaves you want to add more dimension to. Put foam on the tip of the leaf furthest from the stem and glue at the base by the stem
