Sending all the love with this vibrant alcohol ink Valentine’s card by Kulbir 💕
Those bold hearts and dreamy blends are giving all the romantic vibes.
Created with @tim_holtz Alcohol Ink for a background that’s perfectly unpredictable and full of movement.
Supplies:
Tim Holtz Alcohol:
-Inks® Fiesta, Cosmopolitan, Bayou, Juniper, Smudge, Mushroom
-Yupo Cardstock
-Ink Blower
Tim Holtz Distress:
-Paint: Black Soot, Picket Fence
-Black Heavy Stock
-Watercolor Paper
-Sanding Disks
Ranger:
-Embossing powder: Super Fine White
-Ranger Mini Round Ink Blending Tools

Instructions:
-Start with an A2 size panel of Yupo paper. Add a mix of Alcohol Inks directly onto the surface, then use isopropyl alcohol and an Ink Blower to move and blend the colors until you’re happy with the look. Set the panel aside and allow it to dry completely.
-Once dry, place the panel inside your heart embossing folder and run it through your favorite die-cutting machine. This step adds gorgeous texture and instantly elevates the background.
-Using a Sanding Disk with a Blending Tool, gently sand over the embossed areas. This removes some of the ink from the raised details, allowing the heart pattern to really stand out against the background.
-Lightly splatter the panel with Black Soot and Picket Fence Distress Paint. You can heat set this carefully with a heat tool, or let it air dry if you have more patience than I do 😉
-Stamp the heart images from the Love Notes stamp set onto Distress Watercolor Paper using your favorite black ink. Once dry, fussy cut each heart and set them aside.
-Stamp and heat-emboss the sentiment onto black heavyweight cardstock using white detailed embossing powder.
-Arrange all of the elements on your card panel and adhere everything using foam tape to add dimension and depth. This finishing touch really brings the whole design together.
