Hugs & kisses coming in hot 💋Create this Valentine card with @beawitchedbycards, using Ranger products, adding texture with a stencil and finishing it off with a clear stamp from Letter It to give it the perfect handmade touch.💌
Supplies:
Ranger:
-Letter It Loves Clear Stamp Set
-Letter It Alternating Chevron Stencil
-Texture Paste Opaque Matte
-Liquid Pearls: Ballerina, Raspberry, Lavender Lace
-Embossing Powder Purple
Tim Holtz Distress:
-Spray Stain: Brushed Pewter
-Oxide Ink Pad: Vintage Photo
-Mixed Media Cardstock
Other:
-Pink Cardstock
-Embossing Ink
-Gems Or Enamel Dots
-Foam Tape
Instructions:
-Working on Mixed Media Cardstock, place the stencil over your surface, securing it with some removable tape so it doesn’t move.
-Mix Texture Paste with Liquid Pearls. Do this three times, each time with a different Liquid Pearl color. Ballerina, Raspberry, and Lavender Lace.
-After mixing the Liquid Pearl with the Texture Paste, using a spatula start adding the paste on top of the stencil, here’s where you can have so much fun and be creative, making whatever pattern you choose. Do this process with the three different colors. Make sure you smear some of the previous color with the one, this will create a fun mix of colors.
- Remove your stencil immediately after and use your heat tool to dry it completely.
- Using the nozzle of the Distress Spray Stain, add some speckles with Brushed Pewter, once you are happy with the look use your heat tool again to dry.
- Using Vintage Photo Distress Oxide, go around the borders of the chevron paper you created. Once done glue it down to a card base, you can use any contrasting color you like.
- With the clear stamp set, choose your sentiment, and stamp with embossing ink. Then use Ranger purple embossing powder and set with your heat tool.
- Cut around the sentiment, add some Vintage Photo Distress Oxide on the edges of it, add foam tape to the back of it, and position on the bottom right corner of your card.
-Finish your card with some gems or enamel dots.
