Feeling beachy? Try this texture-rich summer tag using some of the newest Make-It stamps and stencils. Created by @beawitchedbycards 🏖️
Supplies:
Ranger:
-Make-it Stamp Set: Beach Vibes
-Make-It Stencil: Wavy Lines
-Texture Paste: Opaque Matte
-Archival Re-inker: Sand Castle
-Liquid Pearls: White Opal, Blue Velvet, Rubber Duck, Sweet Potato
-Archival Ink Pad: Jet Black
-Heat It Craft Tool
-Artist Brushes
Tim Holtz Distress:
-Watercolor Paper (Smooth Side)
-Stain: Chipped Sapphire
-Oxide: Wild Honey, Ground Espresso, Tea Dye, Abandoned Coral
-Ink: Squeezed Lemonade
-Paint: Picket Fence
-Spray Stain: Broken China, Picket Fence

-Dylusions Journaling Tags

-Twine
-Spatula
-Foam Tape
Instructions:
-Spray Broken China on the top of the tag to recreate the sky, manipulate the ink with an Alcohol Ink Blower. Then flick on somePicket Fence spray using the nozzle. Dry with a Heat Tool.
-Then with a piece of plastic (I use the packaging of product bunched up) dip into Picket Fence Paint + add clouds to the sky. Add as much or as little as you like.
-Add Distress Stain to a surface + smush your tag on the ink, this will be your ocean. Dry with Heat Tool.
-Mix some Texture Paste with Liquid Pearls in Blue Velvet, then place the stencil on the ocean part + add the waves. Remove stencil immediately after. Let dry.
-Then color some Texture Paste with Archival Re-Inker in Sand Castle. With a spatula, start spreading it to the bottom part of your tag, this will be your sand area. With the same spatula lift peaks to create a rough textured surface for the sand. Let dry.
-On smooth watercolor paper using Jet Black, stamp your images. Then with Distress Oxides + inks color your images and fussy cut around them. Add foam tape to the back of each piece.
-Add White Liquid Pearls to create the foam of the waves. Add a bit of the Liquid Pearls + with your finger smoosh it down to create some texture. Let it dry.
-Stamp your sentiment with Black ink to one side of the tag.
-Place your images.
-Add some ribbons, twice, and/or fibers to finish.
