For this week's TI Tuesday I am looking at a chip. The TI LMP8481 Precision High Side Current Sensor.
It is capable of a whopping 4.5-76V operation and the common mode input is also 4.5-76V even if the supply is as low as 4.5V. Exactly what you need for a Power Supply / Solar Charger Monitor etc.
