The Holmes Hobbies motor dyno is getting VERY close! 🔥
We've made a ton of progress on both the hardware AND software side of this project. Some of what we learned while developing the TrailMaster app has carried directly over into the dyno software, but there's still more software work to finish before this thing is ready for real testing.
The basic software foundation is coming together, and we're now working through the remaining control, data collection, and sensor integration. On the hardware side, we're down to just a few more sensors and pieces to get everything working together properly.
Once it's finished, this dyno is going to give us a much better way to test and compare RC motors under real load — and put some actual numbers behind all the testing and development we're doing.
We're getting REALLY close.
