While fixing the magnetics on the new 050 micro motor project, I ended up with a pile of parts that technically didn’t make the cut for the final release.
But there’s one problem…
They still spin REALLY well 😳
The updated magnetics are now working exactly how I wanted on standard ESC firmware, which means the final version of the 050 motor is moving forward. But instead of throwing away the old magnetic assemblies, I started thinking…
What if these became fidget spinners?
In this short, I show off the original magnetic assemblies, talk about why they didn’t make the final cut for the motor, and hint at possibly turning them into tiny magnetic fidget toys instead.
Honestly… they’re too cool to waste.
