Meet the Holmes Hobbies Revolver 030 — a tiny brushless motor designed specifically for micro RC rock crawlers like the SCX30 and other custom micro rigs.
At just 14.2 grams, this little motor is seriously small, but don't let the size fool you. It has plenty of torque and incredibly smooth low-speed control, making it perfect for lightweight micro crawlers where every single gram matters.
The Revolver 030 is available in 3500KV and 2200KV, giving you options depending on your setup and desired performance.
It can run on 2S or 3S, provides excellent runtime, stays cool, and is surprisingly universal with different ESCs. Even at the stock settings of many ESCs, this motor can crawl incredibly slowly.
The motor also uses 10mm transmission mounting spacing, making it a great fit for the SCX30 platform and custom micro crawler builds.
This is all about getting serious crawler performance into a ridiculously small package.
