You need to read this 👇
It’s not social events holding you back, it’s your mindset around them.
I’ve been thinking a lot about this.
If we decide to have a “screw it” mentality for every single special occasion, we’d likely end up gaining weight most of the time.
Let me use myself as an example.
I’m extremely social.
I’ve got lots of family, friends and an 18 month old daughter.
It seems like every single week, there’s something special happening. Sometimes even multiple times within a week.
Here are some of those moments that could take place throughout the year:
* Friends’ birthdays
* Family birthdays
* Kids’ birthday parties
* Holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, etc.)
* Halloween
* Cottage weekends
* Trips/vacations
* Weddings
* BBQs
* Poker nights
* Date nights/dinners out
* Random celebrations and social events
and so much more.
I know this sounds crazy, but this could easily add up to 100 days of the year of going off track if I let it.
The point is, when you learn to navigate social situations instead of saying “it’s just one day”, you’ll see WAY better results long term.
