FREE Captain Price Skin coming to MW2 & Warzone? (20 Years of Call of Duty Event Rewards)
It’s been revealed on twitter that with the Season 5 reloaded update, A World war 2 skin for captain price was added into the game files but it’s not tied to any upcoming bundle and it’s not a reward for any challenge that's in the game right now.
What some of the more credible leakers in the community have been reporting is that what’s likely is that this skin for price along with some other rewards that have been found in the game files, will be available to unlock for free in an event for the 20th anniversary for Call of Duty.
Activision are currently having an anniversary sale where all games from Call of Duty 1 right the way up to the most recent Modern Warfare 2 are up to 67% off across all platforms.
This sale is set to end on the 27th of September which is conveniently when Season 6 is meant to be starting and when we’re likely to see these rewards become available.
This sort of event is rumored to be similar to the Warzone 3 year Anniversary event that happened a while back.
If you remember, the way this worked was that there were 7 different rewards that became available on different days over a two week or so period and to unlock each reward you had to log-in to the game and claim them as a free bundle in the store.
So potentially it could work the same way as this or it’s possible rather than claiming rewards from the store there might be a challenge for each but that remains to be confirmed.
So for the 20th anniversary rewards, what’s rumored to be included is the WW2 skin for price, a MW2 2009 Prestige 10 Weapon Charm, A Black Ops emblem which animates between each of the different games logos and some unknown calling cards and a blueprint.
As with all these sorts of things you’ve gotta take it all with a pinch of salt, Although a lot of this leaked information that comes out often does tend to turn out true you just never know and things do change.
