The CDL Champs are taking place this weekend and with it are a bunch of new viewership rewards that you can unlock in-game which includes the You Dropped This Camo which can be used on any MW2 weapon.
To unlock this camo specifically you need to watch the CDL Championship Sunday stream live for an hour and a half on either youtube.com/COD League or on Twitch.tv/CallofDuty.
Both streams will be starting at 11:30am PST on the 18th of June, which is in about 5 days from making this video.
I get the feeling most of you would have already done this but before watching you need to make sure that both the platform you play on and platform you intend to watch the live stream on are linked with your activision account.
To do this you first need to head to profile.callofduty.com/cod/profile and make sure you link whichever platform that you play on with your call of duty account.
If you’re going to watch on twitch then on this same page you also need to scroll down and link your twitch account as well.
If you’re going to watch on youtube tho then after linking your platform on that call of duty website you then need to head to youtube.com/account_sharing and click on connect next to activision id, follow the prompts that it gives you and this link your accounts together
Unfortunately when you watch on youtube there isn’t a way to be able to track your watch-time progress,which is a pain. When you are watching it live tho you’ll know that you’ve linked your accounts properly because it will say connected underneath the video right next to the like button and once you have watched for long enough the rewards should automatically unlock in game for you.
If you watch on twitch you will be able to track your progress thou by going to twitch.tv/drops/inventory and after watching for the required amount of time you’ll then just need to click claim under each item you’ve unlocked for it to show up in game.
As well as the You Dropped this camo there are also 34 other rewards that you can unlock from watching the streams live over the weekend.
For every 2 hours that you watch any champs stream live between the 15th & 17th of June PST you’ll unlock a 30 minute double xp and double weapon xp token, up to a total of 14hours or 7 lots of XP Tokens.
On the 15th of June starting at 12PM PST you can unlock this animated calling card after watching for an hour, a 60 minute xp token after an hour and a half, the royal skull weapon sticker after 2 hours, a 60 minute double weapon xp token after 2 and a half hours and the Dragons animated emblem after 3 hours.
On the 16th of June starting at 12PM PST you can unlock the run it up calling card after an hour, a 60 minute double xp token after an hour and a half, the dollar signs Weapon Sticker after 2 hours, a 60 minute double xp token after 2 and half hours and the 3 piece emblem after 3 hours.
On the 17th of June starting at 12PM PST you can unlock the take notes animated calling card after an hour, a 60 minute double xp token after an hour and a half, the streaked out weapon sticker after 2 hours, a 60 minute double weapon xp token after 2 and a half hours and the Ace Emblem after 3 hours.
Championship sunday like i mentioned earlier is on the 18th of June and starts at 1130AM PST. After watching for an hour you’ll unlock the throne jetski skin & the Top 3 weapon charm, After watching for an hour and a half you’ll unlock not only the You Dropped this camo but also the Royal Knife Blueprint for the Combat Knife and to round things out there is also a 60 minute double xp and double weapon xp token after watching for 2 hours
