All MW2 Trophy Hunt Event Rewards & How to Unlock Them
The new Trophy Hunt event is now live in game and in this video we’re going to take look at all the free rewards that are on offer and how to unlock them.
So from the main menu you can go across to the events tab and at the top here you’re going to see how many trophy coins you have and you’re going to start the event with 150 coins.
As you can see there’s 12 different items available to purchase to start with, this includes emblems, calling cards, loading screens and more importantly this blueprint for the m13 which is called venom strike.
Next to each of these items you can see how many trophy coins it will cost to unlock and once you’ve purchased 10 of these rewards you can see on the side here that you’re going to then unlock the event mastery reward which is this skin for operator roze.
In about 2 weeks on the 27th of April, 6 more rewards will added to event store and at the point the 2nd mastery skin which is this one for operator konig will be available to unlock after purchasing 15 items.
So you’re able to earn the coins you need in any mode of the game, whether that’s multiplayer, DMZ or Warzone.
For multiplayer, In regular game modes you're going to find that players that you kill are going to drop these trophy coins and you just need to run over the coin and pick it up like a tag in kill confirmed.
In round based modes like search and destory players aren’t going to drop the coins but rather they will be baked for you straight away once you get a kill.
You can collect a total of 6 coins per multiplayer match which you can see a count for at the bottom of your screen and you need to finish each game in order to save them to your balance.
In Warzone it’s more or less the same thing, Players will drop coins when you kill them and you can also find them in loot crates but picking them up in Warzone isn’t going save them to your total balance straight awawy, what you need to do is look for this icon on your map which you’ll need to head to and you can basically bank your coins here by interacting with this device.
The same thing goes for DMZ, both players and bots will drop the coins when you kill them and you’ll need to take them to that icon on the map on the map to bank or save them to your balance.
In DMZ i was only able find these coins in Al Mazarah and not on Ashika Island, I don’t know if this is intentional or not but yeah i just thought i’d let you know so you don’t go looking for them on ashika.
