The Witness always intended to incorporate its disciples into its vision of the Final Shape. There was however a moment where it offered our guardian a place of dominion above the Final Shape which would've allowed us to live as a god. This offer appears to have only been made to our guardian and not to the disciples, who would've each experienced an eternity of whatever their respective versions of perfection were for all eternity.
