I recently got invited out to play Destiny 2: Renegades early. After 2 days of playing the expansion and experiencing the Campaign, Lawless Frontier, New Loot, Praxic Blade, Blasters & additions to The Portal I have some thoughts. Ultimately Renegades is something fun to experience but it doesn't shift the needle substantially for Destiny 2 Players. The balance between Destiny and Star Wars is something that will be judged differently by each person but you can tell that the line drawn between the two IPs is a clear one. New additions to the game and the game's world are satisfying but they may lack the longevity that some Destiny players are looking for. Lightsabers and Blaster weapons are satisfying to use and have a surprising amount of depth.
