I love Pokemon X and Y so so much, but the games were littered with loose ends and plot threads with MASSIVE potential that never went anywhere. Volcanion was absolutely one of the biggest of these. I was fascinated with the Pokemon when it was released, clearly it has some implied signifance or deeper lore purpose, right? It gets a tiny amount of lore in X and Y and then in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, but nowhere near the amount a design this good deserves. I have big hopes for it in Pokemon Legends: ZA, it's an awesome Pokemon that never got a chance
