brief pokemon sword and shield retrospective looking at the highs and low of gen 8 before really getting into the spirit of things for scarlet and violet and the rest of gen 9. I think the first big switch installment was great in a lot of ways, but mainly in what it contributes to the future. I'm looking forward to doing stuff in paldea!!
