Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen taught me to LOVE ExtremeSpeed. A move that truly earns a "legendary" description off its presentation and limited use pool. You don't see it very often in these older titles, but watching it in action is a sight to behold. It simply Must be one of the greatest moves to ever do it. But as games came and went- and changes came in Black and White and X and Y- Extreme Speed would become more common but even MORE powerful. I find it interesting that any move could have such a curvature. It was borderline boring and misplaced hype and they went out of their way to turn it into a top tier move. It took years of tuning across the board, but now it is a staple and the image of awesome. It's almost like this attack is a character that I got to grow and change with- character development for a move in a game is beyond cool. Even cooler than Mudkip! This one's for all the Togekiss, Ralts, and Rayquaza fans out there.
