Every year, we as an agency stand together at the Fallen Officers Memorial Wall to remember the those who sacrificed everything while serving and protecting our community.
Last night, we etched a new name into the wall: Corrections Officer Brad McNew. Officer McNew passed away in October; he was trying to save someone’s else’s life when he was killed. We will never forget Officer McNew’s sacrifice and continue to honor his life and legacy here at JSO. It’s at this time that we remember all our fallen heroes – who died protecting our community. Their names and legacies live on with many of their family members in attendance.
We want to thank our city leaders and community partners for joining us during last night’s ceremony.
