Officer Tanner May with our Traffic Enforcement Unit spotted this driver with a handwritten vehicle tag hanging in her window. Her excuse? Her license plate had been stolen!

If your license plate gets stolen, please report it to us by calling 904.630.0500. That way, we can list it as ‘stolen’ in our database. If we find your tag, we’ll be able to get it back to you much faster.

Tag violations are one of the easiest ways to catch our Traffic Enforcement Unit officers’ attention. Make sure your plate is clear, legible, securely fastened and unobstructed.
