We get it. When one of our officers pulls you over, it might catch you off guard. Like this driver, who forgot it was her birthday when Officer Kristy Monroe pulled her over. Officer Monroe gave her a birthday gift in the form of a warning to slow down.

In all seriousness, please slow down. We’ve lost more than 150 people in traffic fatalities on Jacksonville roads this year. Their families will be missing their loved ones this holiday season.

Slow down. Don’t drive distracted or impaired. Get to your destination safely.
