Day 13
We found the big key behind a strange red door. There was a problem though, I couldn't pick up the key. It was completely electrified. Zelda was able to pick it up though. I thought it would be a smooth trip to the door...until those strange hands appeared. They wouldn't stop appearing. I was tiring out by the time Zelda put the key in the door and the hands vanished.
In the next room was a red fish monster! Zelda immediately ran at it straight on. That gave me enough time to take down the monster from behind. Zelda was very excited and happy to help. She's adorable when she gets excited like that.
The next room had the Ocean Rail Map. We went back to Anjean and she told us that we had to seek out Carben. Carben lived in the Ocean Realm. She also told us that we can get there from the Forest Realm since there's a bridge to the south. I remember Alfonzo pointed it out during one of our lessons, but he didn't want me to drive over there. I guess he didn't think I'd have to go there.
We stayed at Castle Town to rest up and left for the south part of the Forest Realm this morning. We reached the bridge but it was destroyed! I stopped the train at a nearby station which was a trading post.
There was only one house here and the occupant of that house was a man named Linebeck III. Linebeck bought treasures from others and dealt with merchants. He told me that there's a bridge worker in the Snow Realm that can help out.
I was glad to find that out, but Linebeck told me to bring him over in my train. I don't really have a choice. Although I am annoyed that Linebeck can't really do anything. He seems so full of himself.
Anyway, Zelda and I set off for the Snow Realm to pick up the bridge worker. We were able to take a shortcut through the Tower of Spirits. We arrived at the bridge worker's home in the evening. I told the bridge worker about the bridge problem and he was willing to help as long as I got him to the bridge safely.
