Here we climb up the highest tower to reach the Wind God, but as we try to progress some black and red insect like creatures appear from nowhere and begin swarming up it, taking out most of the gods' defense force before we even reach it.
The insect like creatures drop almost no Etheria, but the game keeps track of how many you kill and that affects how much Etheria will be found in the chests at the top. Difficulty also affects it, so playing on easy, I get almost nothing lol.
When we reach the boss, it's getting swarmed by the insects and these can actually be used to your advantage. These things HATE the gods, so they prioritize going after it much more than attacking you. They'll try to latch onto the Wind God as it hovers around and drag it to the ground, leaving it open for you to pummel. You can even use your knockback attack to send the insects flying towards the Wind God to have them latch onto it faster. It's a very interesting and unique way to handle a boss fight.
When the god is dead, they come after us, but we finally caught up to Dorothy, who apparently has to power to just wipe them all out. Neat. But now we're on to deal with the final Supreme God that remains.
