Here we have the final fight at Azuchi, where Mitsuhide has retreated to, and turned the castle into a demon castle. We have to work with Hideyoshi's troops to breach its walls and open the gate to get inside.
After that, we go to part 2 of the stage where we fight Mitsuhide himself, who has now become a giant monster. He can't be hurt at first, you have to go around the map placing healing towers down, which means you need to get some human allies over to the designated points. you also need to do all this before they all get killed, which can be a hassle. Then taking down Mitsuhide himself who has a rather janky hit box. It feels like only attacks with crazy range like your Circle button magic attacks can constantly damage him. It took so long to kill him I almost ran out of allies and that'd have meant redoing the whole 40 minute stage...but that didn't happen!
With Mitsuhide's death, all demons will have been wiped out, but he mentions that they could easily come back once men start warring again. Aoi says she'll be there to fight them again if that happens, but this game doesn't have a sequel so...I guess that didn't happen!
We end off with Aoi back at her shrine, Inugami returning to the heavens, and Aoi being made mortal again. They definitely wanted this game to have a sequel but I'm sure it didn't sell well. It's kind of interesting for me as a Warriors fan that likes to see other takes on hack'n'slash, but it needed a looooot more polish. I don't regret playing it, but I sure can't recommend it.
