Here we're teaming up with Hideyoshi to escape from the demons pursuing the Oda. He's going by Tokichiro for now though. Escort stages can be annoying when you reach the end because the general will sometimes try to follow you, but you can't get past the escape point zone because of an invisible wall so you have to set them to move on their own.
Unfortunately the game doesn't have any strategic element of like being able to command troops to go to where you choose, they can only follow you or stop to do their own pre-determined objective. A bit more emphasis on that to allow you to think on how to engage the enemy would have helped the game a lot instead of it just being "kill all the things efficiently".
