Surfers know exactly where to go after a morning catching waves near North Padre Island, and it's not a fancy restaurant. It's Surfside Sandwich Shoppe, a laid back little spot just up the road that's become the unofficial post surf hangout.

The menu is full of solid sandwiches, but skip the usual order and go straight for the ahi tuna tacos. When you're this close to the coast, you might as well eat like it, and these tacos deliver every time.
