This custom outdoor kitchen was designed to maximize poolside lounging and fireside entertaining. A u-shaped bar complete with built-in sink, ice maker, storage and trash rollouts creates the perfect hub for serving up food and cocktails. Meanwhile, the 72" built-in fireplace makes a warm centerpiece for the lounge and TV-viewing area. Ultimately, this build is special because of the flow it allows from inside, to covered, to outside by the pool—a seamless transition that lets the homeowners enjoy the space in multiple ways. From sunny days by the pool to cozy nights watching movies, the contemporary aesthetic and varied use of space in this project make it a favorite of ours.
