when I was a kid playing pokemon platinum I thought these trainers were the coolest people in the world, they don't have a ton to say but they just really spiced things up! It felt good seeing other distinct characters that weren't story checkpoints like gym leaders or rivals. It made the story very pleasant. Love the gen 4 stat trainers
