In 2008, the Church of the Brethren made a recommitment statement against modern day slavery which affects an estimated 27 million people around the world. We advocate support for girls and women through the New Community Project and the Give A Girl A Chance program.
The second segment of the program features the Association For The Arts and the Brethren Quilters who have their auction each year at conference to raise funds for the Global Food Initiative of the Church of the Brethren.
