Hello everyone!
I was originally planning for this cover to be a usual metal cover, but I decided that doing a bluesy-rock version of this song, partly in the style of "Midnight Blues" by the late Gary Moore, would be an interesting idea to try.

Being that this cover was influenced by the aforementioned Gary Moore song, I tried to add some elements of that song into this cover, such as the spacious sounding drums, the background strings and the reverb-heavy solo.
I used my dad's Vantage guitar just because of the sound that it has and the way he has modified it since owning it. He changed the pickups at some point from the stock Vantage pickups to a DiMarzio in the neck and a Bill Lawrence pickup in the bridge, as well as an active preamp to allow for a boost switch. His modifications also happened to change what the bridge pickup tone pot did; instead of darkening the tone it creates a very "cocked wah"-esque sound when turned down.
This is also the first video with my new DSLR camera! I like the quality of it so far. I'm still getting used to all the settings and parameters on it at the moment, but it definitely looks better in terms of video quality and low light performance than my previous Sony HDR-CX405, which I gave to my mother for her to use.
