HEY! It's been close to two months since my last upload, but I'm finally back after taking a break from making videos. This cover was for April's 8-Bit Battleground event, but I only had the audio done at the time. I've since finished the video, and even updated the audio a bit.

For this cover, I initially felt a little uninspired, and for a good chunk of making this one, it sounded to me like I just did what I usually do without doing anything new. That is partially true, as I do some things you would find it pretty much any cover I make, like having the slower soft/acoustic intro and outro, and having some kind of polyrhythmic section. In the end though, I still ended up being really happy with how this one turned out, especially the guitar solo, and the piano part I wrote for underneath said solo. I also updated my lead guitar sound, and I think it got way better!

Also, it's pretty obvious, but I only played the melody piano part at the very end, as I'm not good enough a piano player to play both the parts at once as it turns out 😅
