Some things you should be afraid of. This passage had not only a terrifying name, but also had a ton of warnings on all kinds of cruising websites. That could be why Mike and I went through cautiously at an opportune time on a calm travel day. Because of all the hype, we were aware and did not push our luck. As a result, we hit no snags and the way seemed free of obstacles.
The place we were trying to get to on the other hand, had no real glaring warnings about anchoring or passing through. There were a rare few blogs that mentioned barge traffic that could be of concern to those that anchored overnight, but again, nothing too crazy to raise alarm. However, I for one did not like Skidaway Narrows immediately when I saw it. But I'll get to that in the next episode.
