I forgot how much happened in Saint Augustine. Three months later, I find myself editing this video I shot and I realize not only how many places I stayed within that area, but how much the GoPro never saw. Engine trouble, electronics getting uppity, a friendship tested and I being a weary traveler, there were many things left unsaid. And unfilmed. Still, there are the captured little moments in my stay here like moving from the anchorage in the Matanzas River a few miles North to the mooring field owned by St Augustine Municipal that are memorable times of my trip. I wonder if anyone will find it as interesting as I did while making this episode for Youtube. I long to show only the good times and happy moments ashore, and I will! But this trip is also (for me) beset with times when I am alone. Unsure. Pressing on. Doing my best to keep things, like simply moving 3 miles, as uneventful as possible. That may not be the best thing to upload if you want to go viral on social media, but it is absolutely essential if you want to portray a truthful look into a day in the life on The Great Loop.
