The "Gem" cocktail. The "Gem" cocktail. Created by Ned King, @thecocktail_king , this wonderful cocktail was brought to my attention by my friend Leandro, @theeducatedbarfly on his YouTube channel. With hints of Banana, pineapple, orange and very slightly tart, This is a well rounded cocktail that is tropical and complex. This cocktail is def a keeper, and is on my menu!!
Ingredients include:
30 mil/1 oz Jamaican Rum
30 mil/1 oz Cognac
15 mil/.5 oz Pineapple syrup
22.5 mil/.75 oz Lime juice
1 Dash - Angostura bitters
Shake with ice for 10-12 seconds
Serve "up" in a chilled cocktail glass
Garnish with grated cinnamon.
