HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!! Today, we are going to create a very special cocktail. It's simply a Vodka Sour. This cocktail leverages the subtle Cognac notes of a special Vodka. The Old Barrel Vodka is a Vodka that has been rested in Cognac barrels to gives it an oaky aroma, a dried apples, chocolate and fruity finish.
Ingredients include:
60 mil/2 oz Old Barrel Vodka
30 mil/1 oz Blackberry syrup
22.5 mil/.75 oz Lemon juice
4 dashes of foaming bitters
Garnish with Angostaura bitters.
Combine all ingredients in a shaker, dry shake for 15 seconds
Add ice, shake for an additional 10 seconds
Double strain into a rocks glass, over a large ice chunk
add 2-3 drops of bitters as a garnish
