The Forever Fan 52" ceiling fan in polished brass. "The Last Ceiling Fan You Will Ever Need". Still in its original box, produced by Top Union, Inc. for Builder's Square. Finally got around to getting this one up. Personally, I prefer the styling on the white one I have, but this one is also undeniably of the era both in terms of styling and finishes. I opted the show the rosewood side of the blades this time, though it's usually not what I pick because one blade has a blemish that is pretty visible viewing in-person. Overall it is mostly like-new, but there's some storage rash on the motor housing from the original packing bag. Right away after the original video, I replaced the bag with one of a different material that does not get sticky on the finish, to avoid anything further to that end. Of course I've said it all before, but I'll say it again: these were really nice fans for home center products in general, but particularly for the period. In my opinion, lower quality control standards and not really up to par with high-end showroom brands, but some die cast components and stack motors really elevated the Forever Fan offering and set it apart for the landscape it occupied.
