Emerson (Sears) Turn of the Century ceiling fan in textured brown/antique brass. This is one of several great finds that I pulled from the trash during Cleanup Week 2023. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to save it initially. A couple of the arms were severely mangled and I anticipated them cracking beyond salvage with how much correction was needed. With some patience and carefully applied sharp whacks, I was able to get everything back with only one tiny crack to the side of the worst arm. It's really not even a major component of the structure, kind of more a cosmetic thing. Probably just wouldn't hold up very well to any additional maneuvering. There was some paint loss on that arm as well since it had bent so far, but I did my usual attempt of camouflaging with pens and markers, so you can't even really see it. Whatever light kit was on it had been removed and I couldn't find anything present with it, so I just added this single fitter and a globe I had on hand. Cleaned up pretty nicely overall aside from some scratches and dings to the blades, and it runs really well. Kind of has the motor buzz that some stack motor Emersons seem to occasionally have. Not entirely annoying or detrimental, just not silent. No mounting bracket, but I did have a spare. Light kit aside, it was otherwise complete.
